It has been widely acknowledged that Russian Athletes are some of the best accomplished in the world. But Russian (and former Soviet) athletes will tell you that without the support of the Russian Sports Medicine their accomplishments would not have been quite as great. Russian Sports Medicine has been in the forefront of research in Physical Rehabilitation of athletes. It is this research that has led Zhenya Wine to formulate treatments for the athletic injuries that are covered in this intensive Certification Program. Zhenya Wine and Al Devereaux have been writing about these treatment protocols for the past 9 years in various publications, as well as conducting seminars worldwide for the past 14 years. Our seminars give students immediate skills , which could be used in upgrading any rehabilitation practice. If you are interested in fast results with even the most stubborn injuries, or in preventing most of the common injuries , then this seminar is for you.
Part I of this Certification program will cover preparatory and restorative treatments for different groups of athletes, as well as some injuries. In the first day of this class you will learn how to create an appropriate plan to prepare your athletes muscles and joints for physical stress, and even make the muscles more ready to perform. You will also learn how to help with the athletes breathing by stimulating her or his lungs. Our treatments will also enable you to address emotional function of the athlete by making him or her more ready for the competition at hand. On the second day we will cover restorative treatments that are appropriate for various groups of athletes. With our restorative manual therapy re-education you will be able to prevent most of the common injuries in your athletes, as well as improve training and performance in consecutive days of training or competition. In fact our athletes perform better in the following days of competition, whereas their competitors suffer from tiredness. In the last day of this 24-hour seminar you will learn how to address back strains (middle, lower, and upper) and neck/shoulder strain .
Part II of the certification program will cover our signature treatments for the dysfunctions of the lower extremity. Our treatments are short in duration, and allow the athlete to recover quickly and permanently . Since our treatments re-educate various systems that are dysfunctional to function properly, when they are combined with the restorative treatments the combination keeps the athlete injury free. In this 90% hands-on class the students will learn treatments for acute, and sub-acute and chronic a Hamstring Strain a Groin Strain a IT band Strain a Knee Injuries a Quadriceps Strain a Achilles Tendinitis a Shin Splints a Calf Muscles Strain a Ankle Sprain a Plantar Fasciatis and Heel Spurs .
Part III of the certification program will cover the dysfunctions of the upper extremities. Once again treatments will be presented for acute, sub-acute, and chronic stages of the dysfunction. In this 90% hands-on class students will learn treatments for a Rotator Cuff Injury a Shoulder Ligament Damage a AC Ligament Damage a Biceps Strain a Triceps Strain a Deltoid Strain a Wrist and Forearm Strain a Ulnar Neuritis a Golfers Elbow a Tennis Elbow.
